Description from the creator

Happy... Sad... Relaxed... Can you read your dog's body language? WATCH our video for expert tips and advice on how to decode your dog's expressions, signals, and behaviours.

Your dog can’t tell you how they feel, but you can understand their emotions better by observing your dog’s body language and getting to grips with the basics of dog communication. Purina pet expert, dog trainer, and CAPBT chair Lorna Winter describes how to understand your dog's body language from their expressions, posture, and behaviours.

It can often be hard to understand if a barking dog is stressed, excited, or scared, or a lounging dog is relaxed or maybe even depressed. A distressed or anxious dog may be more likely to bite. So being able to spot the meaning behind their ear twitches, tail wags, barks, and posture will help you care for them better, build trust, and make your relationship with your dog even stronger.

Read our dog body language guide for more help understanding if your dog is happy, sad, relaxed, anxious, or angry:
