Stand up can be an easy trick for some guinea pigs (particularly younger/more agile pigs) or can be more time consuming if you have a middle aged (or slightly chubby! ;P) piggy. It's important to go at your own guinea pig's pace and take as much time as needed for them to be comfortable with this trick.

*Note: Many younger guinea pigs will happily stand up without following the first step (paws up on your hand) so feel free to skip that if it isn't needed. However, that step is a great confidence builder for guinea pigs with weaker balance. :)
