A domestic cat has a gestation period of approximately 63 days. If you don’t know the exact date of conception, however, you may not have a clear idea of when your cat is ready to go into labor (known as queening). If you keep a watchful eye for some tell-tale behavioral and physical signs that labor is approaching, however, you will be able to care for her and know whether or not queening is proceeding normally.
