In this video we train our new Guinea pig, Teddy, to use the hutch ramp without human interaction. At the time of filming, Teddy had only been in the new hutch for 16 hours and was extremely wary of leaving the bedroom section at the top of the ramp.
As you can see, a simple trail of treats and some alone time soon had him freely moving up and down the ramp.
Max hasn't followed as yet but as Teddy continues to go up and down Max will follow when he feels safe to do so :-)
