In today's episode we start by taking a look at Audio Codecs, what they are and when to use them before having a quick introduction to debugging and SIP traces.

Regarding the Opus codec, the legal issues relate to Intellectual Property Rights infringements which is why Asterisk do not offer built in Opus support. If you wish to use it via the patch mentioned, clarify your legal position before hand.
