How to Add Folders to the Avast 2018 Exceptions

Today's tutorial will show you how to add folders to the Avast 2018 exceptions. First, we need to open the antivirus app. Double-click on the app icon on your desktop. You can see an antivirus app on your screen now.
Go to the left bottom side of antivirus and click on Settings. It will open a tab for General settings. We need a Components tab. You will find it on the left side of your window, right under General.
You will see File Shield option at the top of the list. Click on Customize. It will open a new window. Click on Exclusions. To add a folder to the exception list, go to the right side of the window and click on the Browse button. Look for the folders you want to add. We use Howza folder, located on the desktop, and the Avast folder, located on the Local Disk D. Check the folders and click OK.
You can see the chosen folders are now on the Exclusions list. If there is a folder, you don't want to exclude, click on it and then click Delete. Click OK to save changes.
