How to Attach a File in Yahoo Mail 2016

Click on the "New" button in Yahoo! Mail to compose a new message. Then click on the "Attach Files" button that's right under the subject line. Instead of immediately bringing you to your documents, Yahoo! will present you with several "Choose File" buttons.

Attachments in Yahoo Mail
Sometimes words just aren't enough. Send a song to your special someone, documents to your boss, or photos to your family. You can even share your Flickr photos and Dropbox files right from Yahoo Mail.

Share photos from Flickr
Click Compose.
Click the Attachment Options iconAttachment Options icon | Share from Flickr.
Click OK in the "Share photos from Flickr" pop-up window if you haven't connected your Yahoo Mail and Flickr accounts previously.
Click OK on the "Welcome" pop-up window that opens.
- The "Share from Flickr" pop-up window opens.
Click the photo(s) you want to attach.
The selected photo(s) will have a lighter appearance.
Click a selected photo again to deselect it.
Click OK.
Your photos appear below the body of the email you're composing.

Share files from Dropbox
Click Compose.
Click the Attachment Options iconAttachment Options icon | Share from Dropbox.
Click OK in the "Share files from Dropbox" pop-up if you haven't connected your Yahoo Mail and Dropbox accounts previously.
Sign up for Dropbox or sign into your existing Dropbox account.
After you've signed in to your existing account or created a new one, click Link Account.
Click the file(s) you want to attach.
The selected file(s) will be highlighted.
Click a selected file again to deselect it.
Click Choose.

Download attachments
Save files that were emailed to you on your computer.
Download one attachment
Open a message containing an attachment.
Mouse over the attachment thumbnail at the bottom of the message.
Click the download icon Graphic of the Yahoo Mail attachment download icon..
Select where you would like the attachment to be saved on your computer.
- The steps for saving will vary depending on your web browser and browser settings.
Download multiple attachments
Open a message containing more than one attachment.
Click Download all above the attachment thumbnails at the bottom of the message.
Select where you would like the attachments to be saved on your computer.
- The attachments are downloaded and saved in a zip file.
