Description from the creator

Learn how to auto-translate the website pages from foreign languages to local native languages using Microsoft Edge in-built translator. The translator works in real-time and converts the page text into the selected preferred language. browserhow.com/how-to-auto-translate-a-site-pag…

If you are reading any thesis or referring to any article that is written in the language that is unknown to you, then Microsoft Edge for Android has a built-in translator that can help you.

Say suppose you're referring to a guide which is written in French but you do not understand a single word. The Microsoft edge will automatically read and translate the French into your preferred language. You can also select a default language that will automatically translate any foreign language into default.

Though Microsoft Edge does not have an option (or at least I haven't seen yet). In order to invoke the translator, you need to visit any foreign language website or content.

Here are the steps to translate the page into the preferred language in Microsoft Edge for Android:
1. Launch Microsoft Edge on Android.
2. Open any website that it's a native language (ex: Japanese or Chinese).
3. A translate pop-up bar will invoke asking whether to translate the webpage to preferred.
4. Tap on the preferred language (ex: English) in the bar for translation.

The document in Japanese or Chinese language will be translated to the English within no time.

You can also change the default preferred language from English to anything else.

Here are the steps to change the default translation language in Microsoft Edge for Android:
1. Launch Microsoft Edge on Android.
2. Open any website that it's a native language (ex: Japanese or Chinese).
3. A translate pop-up bar will invoke asking whether to translate the webpage to preferred.
4. Tap on the 3 dots menu for options.
5. Choose More languages from the available options.
6. Select the Language from the list for auto-translation.

The foreign text will automatically change the selected language.

If you want to enable the auto-translation without taping or hitting on the translation bar, then follow these steps:
1. Launch Microsoft Edge on Android.
2. Open any website that it's a native language (ex: Japanese or Chinese).
3. A translate pop-up bar will invoke asking whether to translate the webpage to preferred.
4. Tap on the 3 dots menu for options.
5. Select 'Always translate the page in X language to Y'.

This will automatically translate the page from X-language to Y-preferred language.

You can also turn off the auto-translation from the same options menu by selecting the option -- Turn off auto-translation.
