How to change your facebook page cover picture without notifying your users.

So last night was looking for ways to change my facebook page's cover page without notifying my user base and I didn't really have an idea and internet unfortunately didn't give me what I needed.

What I learned is that you can set your facebook page to be "unpublished" which means that public or your fans will not be able to see anything until you publish it again.


1- Frist you want to login to your facebook page.
2- Top right hard corner click on "Edit page info"
3- Now, on the top left corner you will see the " General" icon. Click on it
4- Now the first option is "page Visibility"
5- Now, you have the option to set your page to be "unpublished" and you can quickly update your cover picture and publish it again.

There are pros and cons with this. If you don't do this, your user base will get notification each and every time you update your cover picture. I also tested this while watching a video on my page and the stream will continue. So if you have large user base, you can still do this but as long as you make it really quick.
