In 05/2020 Google updated link sharing. This video still works but you will need to share the main folder the file is in as well as the file itself! BOTH need to be 'Anyone with a link'.
An updated video with the new method(s) can be found here: youtu.be/S6BRmorFFc0

Hello and welcome back to another video tutorial. In this video I am going to show you how you can create a direct download link to your files on Google Drive.

Third party application:
G-Drive Linker: graytechnical.com/g-drive-linker/
Direct Download: graytechnical.com/download/7923/

If you want to share a whole folder at once you must first ZIP the folder before uploading it. If you want to share all images in a folder G-Drive Linker can create a custom download link for every file in a folder.

 ----------

How to:
(This method still works. Get link by Google Drive - Right Click on file - Get Shareable Link)
1. Get shareable link from Google Drive
2. With shareable link, change 'open' to 'uc' and add '&export=download' at the end of the url
