I other words, how to split the existing C: drive to create another D: drive from it. It is highly recommended to store all personal files on a different partition, for example on drive D. If the operating system (Windows) fails to start and it has to be reinstalled, than all personal files (Documents, Desktop, My Music, My Pictures) could be lost.
