Description from the creator

How to create a custom reminders list for your iPhone, iPad (Mini), or iPod Touch in iOS 6 and use Siri to add items to a custom list

Open up reminders app
Tapping on the upper left icon with 3 lines will show you the default reminders list and any custom lists you have created. Since we haven't created one yet, we only see the default one titled Reminders. So, let's create a custom list. Just tap on Create New List and enter the name of the custom list you would like to use. I am going to create a To Buy list where I will add things I need to buy from the store. So, I type in to buy and then tap done. Now I have a new custom reminders list. Once I have that set up I can manually enter To Buy items to my list, or I can use Siri to add a specific To Buy reminder that goes directly to my To Buy list. Here is how to do that. Activate Siri and say, Add Milk to my to buy list.
Siri will process your request by adding a reminder to buy Milk in your To Buy list.

Of course you can add all kinds of lists like a packing list, gift idea list, etc. Then, whenever you ask Siri to add something to a list, be sure to say, Add Socks to my Packing List or Add iPad Mini to my gift list.
