If you want to deactivate or delete your skype account permanently, then follow these simple steps:

1. Reach to the skype customer support (watch the video for the process)
2. Then login to your skype account
3. Click on choose a topic and select "Account and Password"
4. Then select "Deleting an account"
5. Click on Next and then again click on "Text Chat support" link
6. Enter your details there and start chat.

They will assist you to delete your skype account permanently.

Note: It may take 30 days to close your skype account.
