Audacity is a free and open source audio file editor, very powerful and very easy to download and install, as long as you don't get it from scam websites, which bundle it with malware. Follow the steps in this video to get the right version, to even be able to use Audacity if you can not or don't want to grant administrator privileges to the installer. In this beginner setup tutorial you will also see how to easily open Files by just dragging them into Audacity and that MP3 and Video file funtionality is not built-in but you will have to install these features seperately (videos will follow).
