In brief

Turn a PDF into an editable Word document while keeping all text, images, and tables intact—then save it back as a PDF. This method works with Microsoft Word from Microsoft 365 and is ideal for quick edits of scanned or locked documents.

Key steps

  1. Open the PDF in Microsoft Word (using Microsoft 365)
  2. Edit text, images, or tables directly in the Word file
  3. Save the edited document as a PDF again

Questions & answers
