Description from the creator

IMPORTANT: this video regards power transformers from 40 Watt or higher, ment to be connected to a wall socket from 230 V at 50 Hz. When you want to figure out connections from small transformers (3 Watt-10 Watt) you can use a power resistor from approx. 200 - 400 Ohms (20 Watt) instead of the lamp to do the test. The showed model resistances from primary transformer windings refer to 230 Volt - 50/60 Hz circuits. For 110 Volt - 50/60 Hz circuits the DC resistances from primary coils on the transformers will be smaller. Please take care of your personal safety (!) when you do these experiments, isolate all blank wires and don't get in contact with them. Put a carpet under your workbench, work on a table from wood and not in moist rooms. More information in my books, available on the Lulu website (author Ko Tilman). The video stops suddenly because my camera battery was empty. By the way: the phase-issue regards both the primary and the secondary windings. Also on the secondary the voltages from two windings can extinguish each other when they are nor connected properly in phase. This can mean that you don't find the added voltages, but zero or almost zero AC Volt.

Update 27 November 2022:

My You Tube channel trailer is here: youtu.be/xbgQ8T3oqh4

Please note that my YT Channel can disappear, perhaps suddenly, because I am censored by You Tube, when posting critical video’s regarding the experimental mRNA Covid jabs of Pfizer and other pharmaceutical companies.

When you search, search always “NEWEST FIRST” to get the right overview. You can also search via the “looking glass” on my Channel trailer via keywords like ”audio”, “radio”, “amplifier”, “filter”, “Shortwave”, “transistor”, “FET”, “oscillator”, “generator”, “switch”, “schmitt trigger” etc; so the electronic subject you are interested in.

My books about electronics & analog radio technology are available via the website of "LULU”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.
lulu.com/search?adult_aud...

I keep all my YT videos constant actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. Search there, and avoid my circuits that are republished, re-arranged, re-edited on other websites, giving not probable re-wiring, etc. Some persons try to find gold via my circuits. I take distance from all these fake claims. I cannot help that these things happen. Update 27 November 2022.
