How To Get Emoji (Emoticons) On Android

In this video, I show you how you can get emoji emoticons on your Android phone so you can send and receive them with an iPhone user or other Android users (who have emoji as well). Emoji is a set of emoticons that is much more extensive than your normal dozen or so you get on Android.

In order to get emoji on your Android phone, you'll have to download a messaging app that supports it (with a plugin). Two of the top messaging apps that have this feature are Chomp SMS and GoSMS (both of which are free). After downloading the app, you do have to install the emoji plugin as well. This will allow you to use a wide variety of characters and smileys when texting.
