Description from the creator

The more relevant your content is to a specific market niche, the more likely you will be to get backlinks from that niche.
So, wouldn't it be great if you could:
*Identify specific niches where you already have a presence – even if you don't know it
*Identify niches where your competitors are strong... or weak
*Create content targeted at specific niches within your overall market - so your chances of success is higher.

Well, you can do all of these tasks easily with the topics filter in Majestic’s Site Explorer. I’ll show you how in this video.
Every business serves multiple niches and this is likely to be reflected in your backlinks profile. But most people have an imperfect view of the niches they serve. But you can use topic filtering to find many more that you could brainstorm.
I’ll look at WarbyParker.com, a great example of a site that serves multiple niches and I’ll use topics filtering to show the major niches in which WarbyParker.com has a presence.
I’ll show you quickly how to see that their gets 211 backlinks from society/ people…
155 from recreation/travel
148 from business/marketing and advertising and so on.
Digging into this topic data can inspire you so spot niches you could dominate – by creating content specifically targeted at each.
Now the purists among you might ask if these links are irrelevant.
That might be true if the backlinks are random and unconnected.
But if the backlinks are meaningful – so there’s a clear reason for the backlink – then they’re natural.
And you can use them to discover niches and backlink prospects that you otherwise would not have thought of!

Let’s investigate by digging deeper into the topics from which WarbyParker get links – and we’ll infer why the links were given.
