Description from the creator

👍 Learn how to increase the size of drive C: by taking free space from drive D: in Windows 11 and Windows 10.

In this video, we demonstrate two ways to extend the system partition.

The first method uses the built-in Windows Disk Management tool. It works when unallocated space can be created directly next to drive C:. In our example, drive D: is deleted, part of its space is added to C:, and then drive D: is created again.

⚠️ Important: deleting a volume erases the data stored on it. Back up all important files before modifying disk partitions.

The second method shows how to resize drive D: and extend drive C: with AOMEI Partition Assistant without deleting the files stored on drive D:.
