Commands to install protocol Buffer on terminal (linux):

$ sudo apt-get install autoconf automake libtool curl make g++ unzip
$ wget github.com/protocolbuffers/protobuf/releases/do…
$ tar -xvzf protobuf-cpp-3.11.0.tar.gz
$ cd protobuf-cpp-3.11.0
$ ./configure
$ make
$ make install
$ sudo ldconfig


Commands to run a protobuf file:
1. protoc –I=$SRC_DIR --cpp_out=$DST_DIR $SCR_DIR/protofile.proto
or
protoc --cpp_out=. protofile.proto


2. g++ -std=c++17 C_file.cpp protofile.pb.cc -o binaryfilename `pkg-config --cflags --libs protobuf`


3. ./binaryfilename
