How to install Java JDK on Mac OS and install Visual Studio Code on Mac OS. We will also set Set $JAVA_HOME environment variable on Mac OS.

Enter the following code in the .bash_profile file to update the JAVA_HOME environment variable :
export JAVA_HOME=$(/usr/libexec/java_home)
After saving the Bash profile file, please open terminal and type "source ~/.bash_profile" without the quotes.
Then type: echo $JAVA_HOME
