In this video tutorial, we'll install SliTaz 4.0 and review on VMware Workstation/Player step by step. We'll also install VMware Tools on SliTaz for better VM performance and usability. This tutorial also helps for installing SliTaz 4.0 to hard drive on physical computer or laptop.

3- Installing SliTaz 4.0 to Hard Drive (HDD)

5- Test VMware Tools Features (Fit Guest Now, Drag-Drop File and Clipboard Sharing)

What is SliTaz GNU/Linux?
SliTaz GNU/Linux is a light-weight, community-based Linux distribution suitable for use on older hardware. SliTaz weighs in at less than 30MB, but it packs a graphical desktop environment and an amazing array of applications. It uses BusyBox, a recent Linux kernel and GNU software. It boots with Syslinux and provides more than 200 Linux commands, the lighttpd web server, SQLite database, rescue tools, IRC client, SSH client and server powered by Dropbear, X window system, JWM (Joe's Window Manager), gFTP, Geany IDE, Mozilla Firefox, AlsaPlayer, GParted, a sound file editor and more. The SliTaz ISO image fits on a less than 30 MB media and takes just 80 MB of hard disk space. The system can be extended with the Tazpkg package manager and security updates are provided for the cooking and stable versions.
