How To Make DTV Antenna (My Way) (ISDB-T Philippines)

When I bought an ABS-CBN TVplus box, it came with a vertical standing antenna featuring a magnet at the bottom to attach it to a metal surface. I decided to experiment by comparing the antenna polarization and discovered that the digital signal is stronger vertically than horizontally (unlike analog, which is the opposite).

No idea if you get the same result as I did, but here's my result when receiving a digital signal from ABS-CBN, which was the only digital channel in my area when I made this video in 2016:
ABS-CBN TVplus included a stock antenna standing vertically, which I placed on top of the cabinet inside the house = 44%
Outdoor antenna horizontally polarized = 56%
Outdoor antenna vertically polarized = 67%

The length of the antenna is 30cm (12"), optimized for UHF reception because all digital TV stations here in the Philippines are in the UHF band. If you live in an area where VHF is also used for digital TV, along with UHF, this antenna is not for you.

Vertical polarization performs better on digital TV, while horizontal polarization performs better on analog TV, at least here in the Philippines.

The coaxial cable used for the TV antenna is "RG6," sold by the meter in length.
