Description from the creator

As we move into more demanding wireless systems, the need to look closely at cable losses is becoming more-and-more prevalent.

In 4G frequencies, cables should not be more than 5m without some thought and selection going into the coaxial cable. In 5G frequencies, any length of cable is a concern that should be taking into consideration.

In this video we discuss the problem, showing the results and some actual numbers on what losses can be expected. We also demonstrate how we can assist you with reducing cable losses to the absolute minimum.

If you have any questions about cables, feel free to visit our site at rfshop.com.au. Also, if you have any detailed connector requirements, please visit our supplier Jyebao on their website at www.jyebao.com.tw.

The antenna used in this demonstration is the Poynting XPOL-2 directional MIMO antenna. This antenna is a great 4G Antenna, and is also a 5G Ready, also considered 5G Compatible antenna.
