If Auto Sync option is enabled & you connect your iPod to the computer, entire files on your iPod will be replaced by the files present on the iTunes application.

At this point, most of us think that iPod files get copied to the computer or iTunes. But the fact is, iPod is read-only & can only receive files from iTunes.

So, to get back lost music files from iPod, you need to use any third-party recovery application. Here, I am going to show you one such tool.

To start with, first plug your iPod to the computer & go to the site "recoverymyipod.com". Read the information on this page and download the software.

Once you have installed the software, launch it, you will get this screen.

Here, you have 3 different modules. From this select Recover Photos module.

Then, choose either Recover Deleted Photos or Recover Lost Photos option.

On this window, you need to choose your iPod from which music files were lost.
