Cosmos2000 and I spend far too much time working with old printers and not nearly enough researching our investment portfolios.

Actually, I have no idea if that's true or not but I do know my shares crashed this year and it's a pain in the butt.

Regardless, rather than spend $50 on new ribbons for our printers, we cut open several beautiful Sharpie (TM) marker pens and used their tender innards to replenish the ink on our existing ribbons.

For our trouble, we were rewarded with beautiful, rich, dark prints and a few dirty plates in Cosmos2000's sink.
