How to replace the M&RIE microphone filter | For Professionals

Step 1 - Locate the microphone port near where the receiver wire enters the receiver. To insert a new mic filter, use the side of the M&RIE mic protection system tool with the new filter attached.

Step 2 - Push the new filter into the empty microphone port.

Step 3 -Twist the tool to release the new microphone filter. Pull the M&RIE mic protection system tool away from the receiver leaving the new mic filter in place.

Step 4 - Ensure the new M&RIE microphone filter is correctly installed.

Step 5 - To remove, use the M&RIE microphone filter protection removal side.

Step 6 - Slide the removal tool between the receiver and the mic protection system. Ensure the tool is completely seated. The opening should extend to the receiver wire.

Step 7 - Pull up and away from the receiver to remove the used mic protection filter.
