How to Rotate A Video in VLC Media Player [Permanently] With this method you will be able to rotate a video in VLC player permanently so that it stays in that rotated state even if not played on VLC Media player.
1. At first, open the video that you want to rotate/flip in VLC player.
2. Then Go to the Tools tab on top and open "Effects and Filters".
3. Now Go to "Video Effects". then Go to "Geometry".
4. Here you will see A Transform option with a check box. Check the box.
5. Now in drop down list below select the option that will give you your required results.
6. Once you are satisfied close this window and go to "Media" tab on top of player and go to "Convert/Save" option.
7. here add the video that you want to convert (That you opened previously) then click "Convert/Save".
8. On the next screen hit the settings option and go to "Video Codec" and Filters.
(You must select video check box above if not selected)
9. In the list, find "Video Transformation Filter" and Tick the box. And hit save.
10. Now just choose your file destination. Name the file. and hit "start"

Now the video is permanently rotated even if not played on VLC Player.
