DESCRIPTION
🕹 My PSU DIN has developed a short. I hate soldering DINs. So I decided to learn the correct way, and share with my friends here on YouTube. It takes a couple of attempts to get the perfect result, but it’s worth the wait. And I particularly like the metal “bwack 64 Saver” style DIN connected to the C64C new case! I hope you like it too.
⚠️ Make sure the wires on pins 6/7 don't touch the metal DIN cable grip or you could blow the 9V fuse in your C64. You can insulate them from it with electrical tape to be safe.
⚠️ I name & display the incorrect pin numbers in this video. I have punished myself suitably. For the check pins you can use Greisis Workbench's schematic in the description of this: youtu.be/oY6ycn7qmzo
