Today I will show you how to disable the Launchpad fade in effect on Mac OS X Lion. This may work for Mountain Lion if so please leave a comment.
The commands are as follows:
defaults write com.apple.dock spring-show-duration -int 0
defaults write com.apple.dock spring-hide-duration -int 0
killall Dock
Make sure you paste all three lines separately.
