How to Stop Telemarketing & Harassing Phone Calls

Did you know I've made over 800+ other videos on YouTube? Hit that *SUBSCRIBE* button and watch another Barnacules Nerdgasm video right after this one! 🍿 Jumping out of my shower this morning covered in soap to answer one those annoying telemarketing calls lead me to a brilliant idea that should start getting my name and number taken off those terrible lists they use to harass people. This should also work on those fake tech support scammers also.

▼ Questions & Answers ▼
Q) I don't think this will work since it's playing the sound of a bi-directional connection and not just the tones that it's a modem listening.
A) The system the telemarketers use is designed to listen for human voices vs. machine voices and I believe this is sufficient to fool them and also will fool a human very easily. The better sound would be to just play the initiating handshake sound over and over like a real modem does waiting for the handshake but I couldn't find this sound.
