Syncing is the process that transfers the data your device collects to your Fitbit dashboard. The dashboard is where you can track your progress, see how you slept, set goals, log food and water, challenge friends, and much more.
The Fitbit app can also send information back to the Fitbit device during a sync. If another source collects fitness activity for the same account, the info downloads to the tracker to reflect the correct amount of exercise performed on that day.
To Automatically Sync. If you've set up your Fitbit device with your Mac computer, it is already configured to automatically sync with it. So long as your Fitbit is within 20 feet of your computer, automatic syncing will take place normally. To Manual
