Two Apple experts show you how to take a screenshot on the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. A screenshot is a picture of your iPhone's screen, which you can then edit and share with your family and friends.

To take an iPhone XS, XS Max, or XR screenshot, simultaneously press the volume down button and the side button. The screen will flash like a camera shutter and a small screenshot preview will appear in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. You can tap that preview to edit your iPhone XS, XS Max, or XR screenshot and immediately share it through AirDrop, Messages, Mail, and more.
