Description from the creator

Wind back the clock 300 years, armed yourself with a modern camera and go on a microscopic photo safari - with a Leeuwenhoek microscope! Well, it's only a replica but what fun! So this is a DIY project that takes you on a journey into the past, at the time of world famous Dutch microscopist, Anton Van Leeuwenhoek (1632-1723). It's amazing what he saw and reported to the Royal society that astounded the scientific community (and non-scientific ones) then, and perhaps still astounds people today of what he created then that could see the unseen!
