Fever is the most common cause of OPD consultation in childhood. Most of the parents panic when the child has high fever. Due to lock down most of the private and government opds are closed. Fever is not a disease it's a symptom of a disease. We need to monitor the temperature by digital thermometer. if the recording is more than 99.5 Fahrenheit then only it should be considered as fever. Cold sponging and paracetamol is the treatment of Fever due to any cause.
