Traditional organisations are under attack. Banks in particular are dealing with a new wave of neo-banks and other fintech services, and the competition is tough.
Corporate giants need to transform their business models, along with their products and culture. In their transformation story, startups are a great partner to provide innovation DNA.

Anca Petcu has had an incredible journey in banking, working for BCR since 2013 and activating in the financial services & leasing industry for almost 20 years. Anca was named Chief Transformation Officer of BCR, two years ago, previously occupying the Executive Director Corporate Network position. She has been building and running the organization of digital product laboratories, leading to the full digitization of several banking products and client’s journeys. Anca is a startup enthusiast, being a mentor in BCR-InnovX Accelerator, where she provides useful insights from her extensive consumer, small business and corporate banking knowledge. She is a London Business School alumna.

Julian Lukaszewicz helps companies big and small to become more customer focused by designing memorable, engaging and profitable customer experiences. Everyday at work, he focuses on bringing human empathy to businesses by applying human-centric mindset to complex problems. His professional experience ranges from being a Lead Business Designer at Accenture’s innovation centre, teaching at a university, to flying around the world, helping airlines improve passenger experience.

Ionut Stanimir is an innovation driven executive and a tech startup enthusiast, he co-founded BCR InnovX, BCR Money School, BCR Business School, and initiated Romania Tech Nation. He strongly believes in the power of education as the engine for transforming the society, through technology, and supports projects that contribute to developing well trained professionals, with solid values, that will inspire and build a better future.
Ionut has an impressive career path in communication and strategic planning, activating previously both for Erste Group in Vienna and Bucharest based consultancies. His expertise ranges across brand management & communication, public affairs, transformation management and corporate social responsibility. Ionut is a fellow of the Aspen Institute Young Leaders Programme and has been featured as a contributor in Romania’s New Wave, Digital Romania and Transatlantic Romania – collaborative volumes by Club Romania Think Tank.
