SAS Tutorial | Merging Data Sets in SAS using SQL

In this SAS How To Tutorial, Anna Yarbrough shows an example of merging data sets in SAS using PROC SQL. Data can be stored in separate tables to avoid creating large data sets with lots of redundancy. When data is stored in separate tables, you often need to be able to bring those tables together to create reports and answer business questions. Joining tables enables you to select data from multiple tables as if the data were contained in on table. Joins do not alter the original tables.

This SAS tutorial covers PROC SQL joins in SAS with examples. Anna discusses why you need joining and uses sample data to show you how to accomplish this common task.
