Description from the creator

THIS VIDEO IS FOR OLD VERSIONS OF GENERALSYNC ONLY. The updated video for current versions can be found at youtu.be/58O5OX1_udM.

Step-by-step tutorial to decentrally sync calendars and contacts between an Android-smartphone and a PC with Mozilla Thunderbird.

GeneralSync syncs data through your local network, without setting up a server or sending your data to a third party somewhere in the Internet. This video exemplary describes the setup process for a single PC with a single Smartphone; additional devices can be added using the same methods.

GeneralSync is available at generalsync.com. It supports Mozilla Thunderbird on all common operating systems (i.e. Windows, Linux) as well as all Android apps accessing calendars and/or contacts provided by the operating system. Support for additional applications is in development.
