Description from the creator

Zemax is used to confirm the algebraic equation for computing secondary color in a visible achromatic refractive doublet. Maximum chromatic focal shift is discussed and analyzed. Wavelength is sampled with 9 data points and the merit function editor is used to calculate the maximum chromatic focal shift using built in math operands. Finally Hammer and glass substitution is used to find alternate optical materials for reduced secondary color
