Most players have never been properly taught any basketball post up moves or even how to post up in the first place. I give out some great tips in this video that should get any post player headed in the right direction. The most important thing when posting up is the get the ball in good position. That makes everything else much easier on the player to score the basketball.

Certain basketball post drills can really be beneficial for post players when working on their touch around the basket and adding new ways to score the basketball. I always recommend that my post players work on post up moves from both sides of the basket and to always do their basketball post up moves at full speed.
