The colors of stain i used are:
Blue: Navy Blue Tinted Varathane from Home Depot
Red: Scarlet Tinted Minwax from Lowes

The dimensions of the stripes are: 36" long, 1-1/2" tall and 3/4" deep. The 4 backers are 18" long.

The overall dimensions of the flag are 36" by 19-1/2".
