How to Field Dress a Deer

In this video I show you how I gut a deer from start to finish! This is my preferred method for white-tailed deer that will be dragged out of the woods. For pack outs in which the animal needs to be quartered the field dressing method remains the same, however I'd recommend splitting the pelvis and sternum (since containment from dragging the animal is not an issue) to give you better access to clearing the guts! Learning how to process your own game animals in the field is a critical step in hunting for your food!
