HOW TO TIE ON FISHING HOOKS FOR BOTH CARP & WELS CATFISH ? (tutorial)

This set up is not the very best one for carp fishing (big size), and not the very best one for wels catfish (small size) , but is the exact one that is suitable for both carps & wels catfish which is very usefull when you suspect both are on the spot ! You can get a 2m wels catfish as well as a 5kg carp with this setup.... In fact it's a light Wels catfish setup ;) Useless to say that the main line on the fishing reel should be very strong above 40kg ! Be careful, you need a reel well tuned to for the carp, because this type of line has no elasticity and would damage the mouth of a carp if the fight was too brutal. Some people may say that it is not very fair to fish carp with this type of winch, but on the contrary it is respect the fish to ensure that the catfish do not leave with a hook in the mouth when they share a spot with carps and break the line

So it's a vry specific setup suitable for both wels catfish & carps !

Le descriptif de ce montage n'est pas le mieux pour pêcher la carpe (le mieux serait plus fin), et n'est pas le mieux pour le silure non plus (le mieux serait plus fort), mais c'est le juste compromis permettant à la fois de sortir un silure de 2m, et de pouvoir piquer une carpe de plus de 5 kg. Attention il faut un moulinet bien réglé à rendre du fil pour la carpe, car ce type de ligne n'a aucune élasticité et viendrait abîmer la gueule d'une carpe si la remontée était trop brutale. Certains pourront dire que ce n'est pas très sportif de pêcher des carpes avec ce type de treuil, mais au contraire c'est respecter le poisson que de veiller à ce que les silures ne repartent pas entravés lorsqu'ils partagent un poste avec des carpes.
Il s'agit donc d'un montage très particulier dédié à cette pêche spécifique mixte silure et carpe.

Inutile de dire que le corps de ligne sur le moulinet doit être d'une résistance supérieure à 40kg !
