Shovel Serve Tutorial | Short Topspin

I teach the shovel serve (also known as the hook serve and punch serve) in this video.
Tips for doing this shovel serve:
* Keep elbow tucked in during the stroke
* Start with a cocked wrist
* Turn your shoulders
* No need for much wrist action - you're just coming around the ball
* Come up on the ball for topspin
* Serve works best if done down the line into your opponent's short forehand (assuming you are both right handed)
