This is how I DL/Organize MP4's and add them to iTunes, with Album art. When doing this you can then import them to you Devices (iPad/iPhone etc...) and they will also show up on your Apple TV if its on the same network as your computer/iTunes library.
- Get a 2TB + thunder bolt external HD
- Move you entire iTunes library to the HD
- Direct itunes to that location by holding option+ clicking icon.
- Locate "Home Videos" folder in iTunes
- Make "Alias" and move to desktop.
- Rename to "Movies"
- Make new folder and rename to "DownLoads"
- DL/Install "Miro" at getmiro.com
- Open Miro - Preferences - Folder - Change and direct DL to the "Downloads" folder on the desktop
- Add Sources in Miro.... Kickass.so and yts.re
- DL MP4 from YTS or Kickass
- When DL'd... go to "Downloads" folder on desktop and rename to make it look pretty
'- Move to "Movies" folder
- Open iTunes and add file to Library (locate from desktop "Movies" Folder)
- Now that it is added to iTunes (should be in Home Videos tab in iTunes)
- Google the DL'd movies poster...Save image to documents.
- open iTunes, right click DL'd movie.... Get Info - Artwork - add artwork...Locate in document....add.
Done...
