How to plot an easy ordnance survey map route on an iPhone

In this video I discuss using a simple app on an iPhone or an Android smart phone and using it to navigate along dirt trails and tracks predominantly in the UK.
If you download Outdoors GPS onto your phone and then purchase ordnance survey map for the coverage area you want, then you'll be able to easily plot a route and use it whilst on your bike. You can simply download the maps that you want and you'll never have to worry about carrying lots of paper maps or wonder where can I buy them. You can either download OS Maps at 1:50000 scale or selected 1:25000 scale Explorer Maps that will cover England, Scotland and Wales too. Then you simply mount the iPhone or Android phone to the motorcycle handlebars using an appropriate mount that you can buy anywhere but the one I use I got from Amazon. See the link below if you're interested but there are many others I'm sure which are just as good.
