How to Prepare For a Trip to the Beach

Florida's Space Coast has 72 miles of beautiful beaches. They're an absolute must-see when you visit. But in order to fully enjoy the beach you have to be prepared. Here are some tips for your next beach excursion:

► Sun protection | Grab some sunscreen and sunglasses to protect you from those rays, a tent or umbrella to escape heat, and flip flops to protect your feet
► Stay hydrated | Hydration is key when out in the hot Florida sun; we recommend 16 oz per person, per hour, especially if you're going to be active
► Bring a reusable water bottle | This helps to cut down on the trash on the beach
► Gear up for fun on the beach | Grab your surf gear from a local surf shop or just bring a frisbee or football
► Grab your trash | Make sure to bring a trash bag with you to keep our beautiful beaches clean
