This is me showing you how to remove a leech, once you got biten by one. Unlike other procedures, this one is quite safe, painless, and efficient. But the biggest advantage is that even if a layperson does it, not one drop of blood will be shed, even if it already broke the skin! Just look at the other videos where you are told to use your fingernail; all of them bleed, which, in the rainforrest, attracts a large number of flies and insects right away.
Just be sure (if you try it at home/elsewhere) to not make the piece of metal too hot, because the leech might empty its intestinal contents into the wound.
