How to Travel or Move Abroad with your Pet!

Moving abroad with a pet is stressful, but totally worth it! These are the steps involved:
1. Research the vaccinations and documentation needed for the country you are moving to
2. Ensure your pet has ISO Microchip
3. Get all vaccinations at least 3 weeks before you leave
4. Get health certificate and vet certificate filled out by your regular vet within 10 days of entering the new country
5. Get certificates signed by CFIA/USDA veterinary department.
6. Ensure your pets travel crate meets all AITA guidelines
7. Prepare your pet and crate for travel
8. If travelling within Europe, get an EU Pet Passport
