Earn extra cash on your daily commute by selling ad space on your car.

Step 1: Compare agencies
Compare transit advertising agencies. Ask about the fee structure and choice of brands to advertise. A contract is usually required, but some are for months while others may be for years.

Tip
Avoid agencies that require a fee to register. A reputable agency won't ask for money.

Step 2: Know criteria
Know the criteria the agency requires for eligibility. Your driving record, background, employment verification, and auto insurance may be considered. A personal interview is sometimes required, too.

Step 3: Decide on types of ads
Decide on the advertisement you'll carry, including the brand and the ad size. You'll make more covering your entire car with an ad -- known as an auto wrapper -- than one-quarter, one-half, or three-quarter-sized ads.

Step 4: Calculate distance
Calculate your average driving distance per month. That, and the city you live in, will determine how much you can earn.

Step 5: Obey the law
Obey all driving laws. Any driving infraction could jeopardize your contract.

Step 6: Get a free car
Get a free, pre-wrapped car to use. Some agencies offer use of a car and maintenance for the length of the contract. Now go out and make some dough by just driving around.
